  • 1 cup basil leaves
  • 1 cup spinach leaves
  • 1/2 cup roasted unsalted sunflower seeds
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 cup sunflower oil
  • salt and peper to taste
  • squeeze of lime to preventing browning


  • Place first 4 ingredients in blender, vitamix or food processor and pulse until chopped. Slowly drizzle oil until you achieve desired consistency.
  • Add salt, pepper and lime juice to taste. (I added a bit of water to get the mixture moving)
