Trail mix Energy Date Balls

  • 1/2 cup dates pitted
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil melted
  • 1/3 cup oats
  • 1/3 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 cup golden raisins
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons chia seeds


  • Add all of the ingredients to a food processor (except chia seeds and dried fruit). Set food processor to high blend and mix until all the ingredients break down and resemble a course wet sand.
  • Add in chia seeds and dried fruit. Pulse until the ingredients are well incorporated and the dried fruits breaks down slightly.
  • With a small ice cream scoop (or small spoon), scoop about a tablespoon worth of the mix and rolls in between hands to form small balls. Repeat this step until all the mix is used. It should create about 12 balls.
  • Allow the balls ti set up in the fridge, for at least an hour.
  • Serve and enjoy!
