This is Episode 111 – Holistic Pediatric Medicine with Ana Maria Temple

dr ana maria temple

In this episode Sarah talks with Ana Maria Temple, a holistic pediatrician from Charlotte, NC.
Ana’s approach to medicine helps children and families achieve a better quality of life with less missed school days, less doctor visits, and less medications.

They talk about what led her to holistic medicine and how it’s different than the care you might be used to.

Some tips from Ana:

  • Skip the sugar at breakfast
  • Focus on small changes for big results
  • Whole foods over processed foods
  • Don’t drink your sugar! Gatorade has the equivalent of 11 packets of sugar. Coca-Cola has the equivalent of 18 packets of sugar.
  • Remove devices from your kid’s rooms. Not enough sleep is the source of many issues.
  • Spend quality time doing quality activities.
