The Juna Women Podcast is a weekly discussion where Juna Founder, Sarah Kuhn, talks to Moms about their health, work, parenting, and all the different ways they’re keeping it together.

This is Episode 84, Baby Milestones with Mommy and Me PT.

Download the episode transcript here.

On this episode Sarah chats with Brittany from Mommy and Me PT.

Brittany is a pediatric physical therapist, a gross motor expert and am a Mom.

Through her business Katie has developed easy-to-use content to help moms understand their baby’s milestones and development.

In this episode, Brittany shares her tips for mastering tummy time, what kind of milestones are important to watch out for, and which ones really don’t matter at all. She also busts some common myths around what age babies should start walking. You might be surprised by this one.

Monitoring your baby’s gross motor skills can be stressful. BUT, as Brittany will tell you, it doesn’t have to be! This episode will help you navigate baby’s first year with confidence and grace!

Meet Brittany:

Hi – I’m Brittany! The founder, CEO, mommy and PT of Mommy & Me PT! I graduated with my Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2013 and have been working in pediatrics ever since. By day, I specialize in working with children with special needs with mild to severe developmental disabilities.

But, my passion is early intervention, gross motor skill development and parent education. I believe equipped parents are confident parents!

When I became a mom in 2017, I realized we ALL have questions – even those of us with expensive degrees. However, it can be hard to find concise information to help us feel confident as moms! So, since I had birthed the cutest little model (I’m a tad biased, I know), I decided to develop some easy-to-use content to help moms navigate their baby’s first year and beyond!

A few social media videos exploded into everything you see here. I hope this information is helpful and gives you the confidence you need to help your baby live his or her best gross motor life!
