This is Episode 030, Choosing Your Prenatal Care: Midwives, Doulas, and OBs with Tanya Tringali.

In this episode, Sarah talks with Tanya Tringali, Program Director at Pebble. Tanya is a Certified Nurse-Midwife with 20 years experience in Maternal – Infant health. She has cared for thousands of women over the years and has caught nearly 1,200 babies. Tanya talks a little about the history of midwifery and the differences in scope of practice between care with a midwife vs care with an OB.

They also also talk about the postpartum care model in the US and how the Pebble Complete Care Program seeks to bring more support to moms in the 4th trimester.
