Download the episode transcript here.

On today’s episode Sarah chats with Emily Watson.

Emily is a fertility and wellness Coach who helps women & their partners take control of their health, navigate fertility & find clarity in parenthood. She does this with a strong focus on diet and lifestyle and by teaching you how to work on relationships with yourself and others.

On this episode we talk about Emily’s journey to becoming a Mom and how she founded her business, My Nest Well, at the same time she was having her baby.

Emily saw a big hole in the market for connecting Moms with the support they need —  whether that was during fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, or beyond — and she has created an amazing resource to help Moms at every stage.

Episode Highlight:

One of the things that stood out to Emily during her fertility journey was when she asked her husband why they had to go through this. His response helped calm her down. He said:⁣
⁣
“Everyone has a struggle and this just happens to be ours.” ⁣
⁣
She repeats that mantra to herself when things get hard as a reminder that while it may seem like somebody else has it easier, everybody has a struggle, It’s just you can’t always see it.⁣
⁣
It doesn’t always make it easier in the moment, but trying to keep the big picture perspective can be helpful. ⁣

Meet Emily:

After spending years behind the computer screen writing about health, her own infertility struggle inspired Emily to step out from behind the screen. She now helps other women and their partners confront their reproductive health by taking control of their nutrition, lifestyle, and mindset, all while finding peace in the process.

IT’S MY BELIEF THAT WITH HEALTHY HABITS, INTENTIONAL PRACTICES, AND THE RIGHT ATTITUDE IN PLACE, THE FERTILITY JOURNEY BECOMES LESS DISCOURAGING AND MORE EMPOWERING. – EMILY W

Emily is a wife, cat mom of two, middle child, and extreme list maker. She likes eher chocolate super dark and grain bowls with lots of power greens. A southerner by way of New Hampshire and Philadelphia, she is now happily settled in Westchester County, NY. She loves living in the calm of the suburbs on the verge of NYC chaos.
